Cameron Comets Alumni Site

Alumni Website - Passing the Torch 

September 11, 2007 alumni webmaster, John Popko, Class of 1956, posted his final message on the Cameron Alumni web site – “This web site is closed”.  Two days later he succumbed to cancer. The web page had gone online approximately seven years earlier.  While the site is being re-designed, you can still reach the old one here… http://cameronwi.com/oldsite/cameronwis/.

Justin Kaiser, Class of 1994, has agreed to provide hosting on one of his servers and has the ability to re-design the site with the latest database technology.  He has already downloaded the files from the original site.  Now he needs local contact people who would be willing to forward him information since, unlike John who was retired and could spend long hours on this every week, Justin’s time is much more limited.  It would be good to have alumni of various ages involved to help ensure that articles on the activities and achievements of alumni from all classes would be included.  To be added to the list of contacts or for more information, please contact Justin:  815-549-0725, Mike Popko:  715-236-7464, or Keith Popko:  715-458-2694.
